At my house...
what tank size would house these for life (the minimum)? (all in one tank)

1 oscar
1 giant bumblebee catfish
1 jaguar catfish
1 lima shovelnose
1 gulper catfish
1 brycon
1 banded leporinus
1 ompok catfish
1 fire eel
1 flagtail

thanks!!!!

if it doenst work out,you get dead or eaten fish.
first off, gulper with anything is usually bad because either the gulper eats everything or is outcompeted for food.
the species of brycon usually found is very aggressive and will outcompete and possibly kill everything.
flagtail would probably hassle every catfish in there...
plus they all grow at different rates.

yeah.... cant argue with that! well okay i guess brycon, flagtail and gulper are out.... well actually i'm talking about when they're all about the same size (minus, the brycon, flagtail, gulper)..... are the rest of them going to be fine? Thanks for your input man and i appreciate your warning!!!

the rest should be fine as long as they cant eat each other.
unless you get a nasty oscar...
min. tank size i would say is a 120g.
you made a good choice not getting those 3.
especially the brycon...

brycon are just smaller versions of dorado.
they just have smaller teeth but have just as much MEAN in them...
ive heard of them being even more aggressive than dorado.
