tank size for a lince cat

one of my freinds is selling a lince cat i know nothing about them i know i have asked this ? before but how long will a 14inch lince live in a 84x32 tank i have hurd they are very slow growers is this true

i know they can grow to 3ft but i also read that someone had one that only grew 2inch in 4yrs how true is this

It depends on water quality,and diet.If you have any doubts,dont get the cat.Just my 2 cents.

based on thier hi speeds and constant swimming they need a very large footprint for their size........they do not grow quickly ime

hey t1...get it.. they are hard to come by...and if you dont let me know and I 'll get him or her. they need a bigger tank...always moving..very active cat..I been looking for sometime now..LINCE cat.

a 14inch fish thats always on the move maybe a bit cramped in a tank size stated

im thinking of up grading to 36inch wide but i feel even that maybe to small long term

I say go for it, they are certainly not hard to rehome and are worth a lot when big too.

im sure you could rehome it T1 when its too big for your tank.... but with how they swim it might be allready if not close

I knew a guy a few years ago that had one of about 12" in a 72 x24 x24 - the fish was fine - no damage to the nose, fins etc fed well and was beautiful ...

If i had the tank space and cash i'd get it !!!
