That tank should be big enough (Is it 3 foot wide?) And 2 isn't really a good number with any species of arowana. I would say 1 or 3+.

I would advise 1 or 5+ but in a 6x3x2 I would go for a single one with some other fish or use it as a grow out for a group of 5 (or more).

yup..1 or more than 3..otherwise add some other sp...tinfoil barb, dat, ray etc..keep postin" and good luck :headbang2

i am exactly doing what your doing. custom 6 x 2.5 x 2.5 tank with 5ft sump tank. gonna keep 4 reds and plan to grow my PG and greenie to comm later on

greens are the jardini's asian equivalent.....allways, as said, have more than 4 or 5 together or 1 alone.

like for virtually all arowanas i would always reccomend at least an 8 foot tank which would last an asian arowana for life. but i guess 6 will suffice. especially with the 3' width.

for 2? your gonna need like.. at LEAST minimum.... at 265+ gallon or basically.
8ft x 3-4ft x 4-5ft height. for at least... two.. so it give them room to move around and such yah know?

Sorry no experience with asians here, your tank would be fine for a single asian aro though.
