Hi I would like to know what are the ideal dimensions for a tank to hold five asian arowana's? I know if it's too big there will be a lot of fighting between them and too small and I could have stress and water quality issues.

I was thinking along the lines of 7x3x2 or 8x3x2. What do you guys think?

I think it's the opposite of how you described, imo and experience the bigger the tank the less fighting so they each have a territory to reside. I would go for 8x3x2 or even bigger.

8x3x2 will do and GL to you

8 x 3 x 2 is a 360 gallon. You probably could go 7x3x2 with the tank being 7 foot long and 3 foot wide and 2 foot tall. However I agree with everyone else if you can go with a bigger tank go bigger. Just make certain you have got a tank that is more than 30 inches wide if you want to keep multiple arowanas if the tanks you are considering are 3 foot wide they are ideal.
