What would be a good size tank for a five incher with a little room to grow, say for about six months. Thanks for any help!

30 long up to 55 gal. Up to you, your money, and how long you plan on keeping the fish in that tank.

I wouldn't recommend anything under 40 gallon, a 40 breeder is already pushing it enough as it is.
Thanks again, okay guys i just got a awesome deal on a 60 wide breeder setup with lots of filtration. Considering the FH is five inches and the tank will be heavily decorated with rockwork and artificial plants; would i have room for one more tankmate?
The guy whos selling him to him currently houses him with oscars that are about 4 inches. Could i not through in a red devil or perhaps something my kamfa can breed with in time? I have a divider and am willing to take the risk and seperate if i have to but can you offer me any suggestions on this subject?

i dont have oscars they guy im buying him from does, how do these fish breed if they only kill each other. wouldnt a red devil be a good match with plenty of hiding spots?
