Tank size for FX5......???

What is the miniumum tank size for a Fluval FX5?

Getting a 75g, and have been offered an FX5 fairly cheap......but I do not want to 'over filter' my tank.....no raging white rapids, any how!

i think it will be fine. There really is no such thing as over filtering your tank. What kind of fish you going to put in the 75.

Personally, I would not attach an FX5 to anything smaller than a 120 gallon tank. The FX5 is a very powerful filter. Excessively powerful filters or too many filters will generate excessive turbulence within the tank. IMO....a Rena XP3 is perfect for a reasonably stocked 75 gallon tank.

Ive seen an FX5 on smaller tanks. Should be ok. If you are worried about to much water flow simply re-arrange the outflows.
