Tank size for Leopard Gecko

Which one of these would be better for an adult Leopard Gecko? Since Petco is currently having their $1 per gallon sale, I am seriously debating on getting the 20 long or the 40 breeder.
So which do you think I should get space isn't an issue.

Well a 20 long would be great for a 1 or 2 leopard geckos. A 40 gallon would be mansion.

Lol thanks for the input, I think I am going to just go with the 40 Breeder.
Its cheaper I think in the long run if I want to get more than two, for the tank I mean. That way I wouldn't have to upgrade the tank later on.

I keep mine in a 10 gallon, eventually Ill move her to a 20 long. 20 is plenty and I know plenty of breeders have geckos in racks the size of a 10g.

The problem with 10's is that it's very hard to keep a consistent temperature gradient. It's a LOT easier to do with a 20 gallon long.

Yeah its easier but Ive got a rheostat and my house is fairly consistent, I have plans to upgrade but I do not want to stress it out. When I upgrade Im going to redo the tank.

your not going to stress out a leopard gecko by upgrading its tank, or bother it by stressing it out lol.

Your going to stress it our buy changing the decorations and size. Its like when you buy a new gecko, they get stressed and do not eat for a few days.
