tank size for...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was thinking a 200-300g (i rater have to bug of a tank them to little)depending on how big the CK is but a good filtration is a must I'd it is a 300g I would use a eheim 2262. I have one one my 300g and all the par are all top notch. Or a sump and 2 fx5's. just me 2 cents.

200 gallons min! not so much for the oscars but for the ck!

I agree, 4 large predatory fish like that will likely need at least 200G to live in there for life...

If it has lots of decor (plants / driftwood / caves), I'd suggest a 200-240. Smaller, especially with insufficient decor, to me will not enable the fish to flourish. There will be stress and greater chances for disease and less chance for optimal feeding/growth. I know people stock higher, but I wouldn't with these.

This assumes of course that the Oscars don't pair off.
