Hello i was wondering what tank size would be required for a dovii OR a pbass OR a red terror. And also how big if i was to add some tankmates. I will be getting a new tank as soon as possible and im not quite sure how big i should go but def as big as possible.

i would say safely for 1 dovii male 150 or 125 minimum, for the pbass at least a 180 or 210 full grown, for the red terror a 75 will do....if you add tankmates....then add some 100 gallons to that....if i was you if u want something like a dovii that doesnt get big and can house tankmates do red tiger motaguensis...really nice colorful fish only get about 12 inches for males..and can be housed in a 90 gallon tank for the pair..and with tankmates a 150 would be nice..good luck in ur desiciondovii88;781365; said:

Red Terror, 75g may be ok for a female (w/o tankmates) but wouldn't a male need more tank? More like 100-125....

Dovii, adult male = 150 minimum, prefer 180-240. IMHO, very few compatible tankmates.
P. Bass, large adult = 240++, very few compatible tankmates.

i agree with most
Dovii 180g - get big not as flexiable as most cichlids (150g for a female)
Pbass atleast a 220g they get big, bulky and cant turn around as easy as some fish
RT Female 75g+ with out tank mates....Male atleast 100g+
