I have a question at the moment I only have a 45 gallon tank. I live on the 5th floor of a apt building with hard wood floors. Any idea if a 90 gallon or 120 gallon would be to much weight for my floor to support. Or is the a question for my building mgmt?

I wouldnt want to have my tank end up in the neighbor's living room under me ! lol

Thanks again everyone ! PS Great link GR8 I just read wow some of those people had over 200 gal on 2nd floor so I guess i will be fine if i get a 90 or 120. I will keep u all posted and gonna check with my landlord as well.

i live in an apartment im on the 3rd floor. right now i got a 75g and a 55g hopefully if my jar still alive i'll pick up a 180 =D

In your situation, the facts are pretty irrelevant. Whether or not the floor holds, to CYB you should get an okay from the landlord in writing. Then the onus is on them to know.

Of course, they might just refuse blindly just to be lazy.

I live on the 3rd floor. I currently have 2-75s, 1-55, 4-10's, and 1-30 running in my living room. All tanks are somewhat spaced out around.
