Alright I got 2 motoros the other day, they are about 6" and I have them in a 90 gallon tank for now while I can fatten them up and make sure they are eating all kinds of different foods properly.

Now I want to move them into a 10' x 2' tank as their perm. home. Do you guys think that is big enough? With the sump it is 300 gallons or so + or - 20 gallon depending on how full of water the sump is.

I know if anything it might be a bit narrow, but how long will it take for these guys to grow to a width where they might need something wider?

Other tankmates will be sevrums, silver dollars and some plecos.

10x2 is a great growout, but wont be wide enough after a couple years.

It'd be better to go with a shorter, wider tank if you could (8' x 3' or 4'). But it'd work for a couple years.

need atleast 36" wide.. so buying the 10x2 would be a waste for the motoros

I could be wrong, but I thought plecos were bad tank mates for rays. Tank size should be ok for now.
