I have my friend who sells his micropeltes and it is already 5 years in a 100 gallon long 72x18x18inch..they are 2 in there 3 feet each,it already have scars in its mouth because it cant turn well in the tank

i would say till it reaches about 18"
because they swimm alot

250 Imp or US gallons?

Either way the fish should let you know if you watch its behaviour when it's time for more space.

all depends on dimensions of tank long and wide is better than narrow and deep,72"x36"x24"high minimum for one on its own

78x27x23 are my dimensions is this OK?

for a little while but you will need to have a wider tank in the future as they will hit 36" in length
