So as you have probably all seen, in most threads if it involves a tank size, then people will disagree or argue on the "real" tank size that a fish needs. So what I hope to do with this thread is set a base size or an "official" tank size for any fish you are wondering on. To be honest im annoyed by the many threads that have about 5 pages of people arguing about tank size for a fish. So I really hope I can end all this. So basically I want to list a fish, then you guys list the dimensions and us gallonage required to house that fish. Hopefully we can stop these arguments.
So to start it off:

First fish is a RTC

1k min I think my 10'diam pool could house one for life or at least 20yrs+

so threads arguing over the correct tank size annoy you, so you start another thread for people to argue over tank size? only instead of people arguing over one fish species, you want them to argue over many species...
:clap

I'd say at least a 18" width and a 48" length should be good for life. As long as you have the filteration system to handle the beast of course.

Hahahahahah

So you create a thread and start it with the one fish no one will ever agree on tank sizes for. Well done :clap

No I was just trying to focus it all more on one thread. No harm done. If it doesnt take off, we move on. Simple as that.
