Tank size?

How big of a tank would be enough for a senegal bichir, for life? 40 breeder? 55? 75? And are bichirs compatible with ctenopomas?

40 breeder is cool, and yes they are compatible with Ctens.

There is a guy named Dozer on youtube and on the boards (he hasn't posted in a long time though) but he has an awesome 95g tank with polys, Cten's, brown knifes, etc...

The 40 breeder would not be terrible but a 75 would be wonderful. Stay away from the 55 as it is pretty shallow at only 12" from front to back.

A 40 breeder (36x18x16) would be fine for a sene of course if you could go bigger it would be better but a 40br is fine-Anne

I have 2 in my 75g and could easily have 2 or even 3 more without room issues.
