Hey what size tank does everyone recommend for green terrors, and for blue acaras (not together), moving house, so new tank coming, would love gts but depends on space they need, hence the blue acaras as a backup , also what companion fish work best with both species??

Cheers!

I would try to get as big as possible for the collections he is planning to have, go for a 180g, you'll be happy in the long run and will allow you to have more fun with the display/set-up of the environment! Rock-On, Though! :headbang2

a 60 x 24 x 24 would be an awesome tank for a full grown breeding pair of jags. :D

I definitely wouldn't try keeping jags and motas together as they are both Parachromis and Parachromis sp. tend to not get along with other Parachromis species. you could probably do a Parachromis loisellei which is a smaller, less aggressive cousin to the jaguar and you could probably keep one with another cichlid or 2 that are much different in appearance. :grinyes:
