When I purchased my tank I was told it was a 100 Gallon tank. The dimensions are 48" x 24" x 24".

If I calculate the dimensions myself using 48x24x24 / 0.004433 I roughly get 122.5 Gallons . Am I calculating incorrectly? I know I should measure inside the tank but it shouldn't be off by 22 Gallons..

Thanks!

nice dimensionssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

you are measuring correctly. Tanks gallonage (from a sales point) is based on external LWH/231. The size of tank you have is a standard 120 gallon tank even though it would probably only hold 110 (due to glass thickness taking up some of that space)
