Here is my new built stand for a 125 and 180 gallon. The 180gal is acrylic and will be on the top level (41" above ground) and the 125gal currently sits an iron stand that is on a 15" platform.
Stand built using 4x4 and 2x8. Believe it or not it wasn't that expensive. I had to pay full price for the full length wood but found a lot of scrap 4ft 2x8 at HD for .51 each.
Currently have a spare 90gal sitting on the floor but when I get some help, the 125 will get move over.
This is one heavy stand but can be taken apart quite easily. I am still debating on adding a few lag on the legs but I don't feel it's necessary. The 4x4 are all notched so it should go anywhere.
Opinion and suggestions appreciated.
