So I picked up this dresser or cabinet type thing off craigslist to hold my aquarium stuff and use as a stand for my 20 gallon Long planted tank. I didnt realize it until now, once some of the water evaporated so I could really see, but it seems as though the water left on the front of the tank is about 1/5th centimeter lower than the back side. And the water level on the front right side of the tank is about 1/2 centimeter lower than the water level on the front left side. So basically this shows that the back right corner of the tank for some reason is higher than any part. I dont know if its the stand, or an uneven carpet floor maybe? But do you think this is something to be worried about? Please gimme your opinions! Thanks MFK.

I would get to leveling that stand. Well, you should actually verify whether is is the stand itself, or if it is the floor. You should get that tank flat and level. If it is a little bit of side-to-side, that's OK, but have one corner higher is not a good thing.

Sry I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have a 90g that isn't sitting perfectly level. The water level difference is about 3mm from left to right (over the 4' length of the tank).

Its a very small difference. Is it still a problem?

If you just talking 3mm from side to side, you will be fine. Just verify that the rest is OK.

i believe it is the stand itself. I put a piece of carpet under one corner and it seems to have evened out ok. What do you think?

Sounds like you got it covered. Just keep an eye on it when you fill it up.
