im about to build a stand for my 55 gal tank.. i am going to build the frame out of 2x4's and most likely use some type of siding to put on the sides. im also going to add doors to the front and small holes in the ends for my fluval pipes to run through. any tips and/or suggestions? and one more question. i was planning on cutting a piece of lexan to use as a top for my aquarium. is this safe or are there any effects that might be a hinderance to my fish?
