Check garf.org in the DIY pages at the bottom. They're good general blueprints. Just put in the size of the tank...
WRONG MEASUREMENTS! A 125 gallon is 72"x18.5"x21"...Please read this before you buy the materials at 5 feet long!....umm as for building it...sure you can go build you a stand but if the price is anywhere close to $250 just buy it...I just purchased my stand offline for $16 shipping and handling from this aquarium/fish selling website...Let me know if your interested in the link...for aquariums under 200 gallons id say just go ahead and buy the stand straight up instead of waisting your time...unless you want something totally off the ricter
Sorry...I just got my stand for my 125 gallon today and just finished putting it together...it looks AMAZING
especially for the price including shipping....it cost less then the non matching bage stand at petsmart

Just scroll down to the 125 upright...dont worry its the right one....
the stand is amazing the finish is beautiful and it really compliments black rimmed tanks...unfortunately they dont sell the matching canopy for it...but hey who cares...i love glass tops anyway...

If Anything~ your tank sounds like a 75 gallon that was mis-measured. Either way they still have stands from 125 gallons and down. Unless your tank is custom then I would build a stand...But if its only 18" wide its should fit on any 125 gallon stands no problem...their the same width...
