anybody have any suggestions on where a good place to buy a stand for 55-75 gallon tanks? preferrably a light wood color?

Depends on your budget, if you have the cash get a nice one from your LFC get a nice one with doors/compartments (very useful)
If your on a tight budget, look in second hand furniture shops, yard sales, craigslist.org and similar (thats' what i did)
Be sure the stand/table (thing your gonna use) is strong though! Good test is stand on it with one of your mates, if it holds you two, then you'll never have an issue

i cant believe nobody mentioned looking at wal-mart. a buddy of mine bought a stand from wally world pretty cheap and its very nice. just thought i would throw that out
I got the one i have from bigals for my 75. I managed to get the floor modle becuase it was the last they had, so i got a discount.
