Well i'm saving up a little money and i'm getting to the point of where i just have to wait until i find a good deal on a tank that isn't too far away and i can get it, so i wanted to know what you guys think about the setup and stocking of the tank.

I'm hoping to snag either a 120 or 150 gallon, i'll use my 55 gallon as a sump along with a couple HOB's for extra mechanical filtration.

I'm thinking that of the growouts i have now I'm going to keep my Texas (cyano), my 2 eclipse cats, my sveni, my bellycrawler and deffinately my albino and normal senegals.

Eventually I'm hoping to order in some fish to complete a stock such as:

Paratilipia Polleni
Texas
Sveni
Bellycrawler
2 eclipse cats
MAYBE one of my bullheads
2 senegals
Ornate
Delhezi
Palmas Polli

A couple pictures to hopefully garner a little attention as all of my other threads usually fall into the abyss of old threads within minutes of posting

*note none of these pictures belongs to me and all credit is due to their photographers and owners of which i have no clue on most of them due to the hardcore googlage of where i found them

I'm hoping to get a little better at taking pictures so you can actually distinguish what the fish are lol.

Anyway you think that the stock should work? I'm not very familiar with the tempermant of paratilipia polleni, I've just seen them before and loved the way they looked but i always assumed they were kind of rare, but no they aren't they are rather cheap and common online and don't put on too much size.

Is this stocking a little light? Pushing it? About right?

Sounds good then. I'm hoping i can do it with some nice sand and larger pieces of driftwood and some of the lowest light green plants i can find.

Either that or i'm getting rid of most of my stock and ending up with a 75 with a paratilipia polleni and some of my cats and the 55 with either the texas or my JD and some of my bichir.

I'm sure most of you will say go with the 120/150 but it is sorta hard to find around here.

Damn this might not even happen now thanks to me breaking some guys nice new Ford F-250 rear passenger window....

I think i might need to downsize to something that'll fit my 55.

I'm furious....i finally find a tank thats very cheap, but its too far away for me to go get and I really don't feel comfortable driving through a larger town, i don't have a pickup and there is just noway to get it!

It looks like a total POS (excuse my abbreviated language) but i could fix it up and have a total 125 setup for around $100....

link if anybody happens to be in Omaha wanting a large fixer.

Jeeze don't you hate when a couple details really nail you!

To add onto this feces sundae, I'm actually going to Omaha today but there is NO WAY i could possibly get the tank. I emailed the guy and he doesn't have a pickup either or else I'd pay him for delivery.

Would have been perfect because it would have given me something to do fixing the brace, cleaning it, working on the stand (would have kept the basic supports and reinforced with 2x4's then plywood it) and getting a w/d put on it before setting it up for all of my growouts that are now getting crowded. I think i may end up having to trade in a few of my fish for store credit soon.

polleni are awesome, the concern I would have is with different size variance with the bottom fish.
