Just wanteed to get a couple of opionions on this, I have a 180 6x2x2. Current stock is 1 11" female Oscar(calm), 3 female JD's about 7",1 Festae about 4", 2 small convicts(about 1-1 1/2" and 4 Silver dollars. Everyone gets along well at this time. I have 4 more Festaes(ranging from 4" to 5") I am growing out in a 45 gal that I would like to put in the 180. My question is can I just add them for a while or do I need to get rid of something before. Or should I just leave them in the 45. Thanks in advance

I promise you that you will regret putting 5 Festae in a 180gal with an Oscar, 3 JDs, and 2 Cons. If two of the Festae forms a pair, things will become increasingly difficult for the tankmates. A group of Festae fight enough on their own without tankmates. Female Festae can be a little more forgiving, most of the time. You have a good-sized tank, just don't stock it too much with really aggressive fish, especially a possible pair of Festae.
I would leave the 180 as is and keep your eye on the festae currently in there. I have heard nasty stories about festae. Sounds like a cool set up though. Post some pics if you have them.
