Hey there, I'm new to the forum so I really dont know how this works. But I do have some questions about cichlids. I have a established tank that used to have community fish but now I want to change it to dwarf cichlids.I was looking at the juli and the Lamprologus Calvus, but mainly the juli. So here are my question, there is a lot!
1)How many juli can I put in this tank?( not intended to be breeding)
(Golden Julie, ornate Julie, yellow Julie, Daffodil brichardi, and masked and plaid Julie)
2)I still have gravel from the community fish tank, should I change it to sand?
3)Also can other types of small cichlids be put with the juli, if so what kind?(keyhole,Lamprologus Calvus, maybe Altolamprologus Compressiceps)
4)And the last one how do I raise my ph?( I have herd of crushed coral, limestone, buffers, proper ph) my ph is from the tap is 7.5
