Tank stocking?

Hey guys so i have a few large tanks in my home. I have a desk setup (Basically an office) & a spare little 10G with equipment. I Wanted to set it up on my desk, any good ideas for a few little fish i could throw in there? Im not too used to stocking such a small tank.

Nannacara anomala have always interested me for a nano tank setup. Maybe a school of neons and a couple corydoras as well.

Similar to the Nannacara Anomala, a pair of Apistogrammas would also work. A few Pencilfish as dithers and you'd have a neat little set-up.

I’m a big fan of zebra Danios. I really liked the golden longfins.
Of course a betta would be my first choice for an interactive small fish.

Yes, plants are a good start. Do something you could never see yourself keeping before or you maybe haven't had in a long time. If it was mine I would get some small barbs like Dwarf Gold Barbs, a small loach and some dwarf corys. Or maybe a few Anchor Cats instead of corys keeping it Asia based. Throw in Scarlet Badis and you will have a beautiful and interesting gallon.

Hmm i could plant it, not really to used to maintaining plants i only have one in a 55 gallon.

I do like the asia based, my favorite fish i own is the asain redtail cat so i definetly would be interested in this idea. Like i said im not used to small tank stocking like this so any ideas are appreciated.

I wouldnt recommend to stock any type of danio in 10 gallon. They are really active fish.
Possible fish would be:
- betta
-shrimps
-snails
-dario (its crazy difficult to get a female and a male so watch out with that)
-galaxy rasbora's
-mosquito rasbora's

and wild type Bettas also do well in tiny tanks
Betta albimarginatta below (you can have more than one of this species in a tank)
