Oregon, it's part of 'Murica!
Do to some accidental cross contamination, my 75 gallon got ick so I treated it with 25 - 30 tablespoons of salt and 85F. Didn't clear up after a week and I tried Ick Clear by Jungle. My tanks has some suds at the top, more than before the ick. I don't know if its because of all the salt or because the Ick Clear. It might of killed the biofilter and all the suds are because of the ammonia.

I'm waiting a couple hour before I test my water because I changed 30 gallons.

If it has formalin and malachite green, it can kill your beneficial bacteria.

You should have left the salt treatment for at least two weeks. 30 tablespoons is 90 teaspoons total, therefore, the salt treatment is inadequate. You should have added a teaspoon per gallon first, followed by another set in the next 12 hours and the last and third set in the next 24 hours totaling 225 teaspoons or 75 tablespoons.
