Tank suggestion

Hello MFK

so I just sold off my 240 as I will have space inside the house for one tank now.
I have 2 options in the space that I have, the Marineland 265(7' x 2' x 30" or a 6' x 2.5'w

Now the thing is I am more into "monster fish" which is why I am having a hard time figuring out some fish I would actually be interested in housing in the tank

Which one of these tank would you recommend, I am into rays and fire eels, of course the Rays would probably out grow both, I could potentially just grow them out and when they get large get another Ray pup

Any suggestion would be helpful

Stick with hystrix or mini marble males......i would go with 6x2.5 out of thise 2 options

Agreed, the extra 6" in width may not sound like much but could make all the difference if you like rays...

I was thinking that too but I also think that the extra foot in length of the 265 would be best for a fire eel.

Personally, i think a fire eel would be happy in both, but if rays are high on your list, then maybe the extra width would be slightly better option???

Awesome, I would of course rather go with a 6' x 3', but I'm already pushing it with the tanks there in the first place
