Ok, as I promised here is what I have got.

I scored a 100gl acrylic ( 5' x 15"x20"), a power head ( not sure what kind but its damn stong! ), and a 250wtt J-something ( jebo?) heater for 40 bucks! I love craigs list!

Stand: i didn't post the step by step on making it, I did not want to bore you guys with the cutting and measuring and such. So, the only way i can keep the tank at my Dads is to paint it Christmas colors for the holidays!! OMG! he said i can change it after the holidays. I wanted to go with all black but ehh. The doors are still drying they are red same as the borders. ( will post more pics soon ). It is strong built, usuing 4x4 for the 4 sides and 2x4 for the posts around it. Very strong.

The sump is simple. Just like everyone elses on here. Just copied it and paste it, lol. I had to relay the canister where the pump sits for I had limited room to work. I had 2 outlets for the water output for the pump was too strong.

All this for Garry the Gar, my little brothers pet. This is his xmas gift by the way.

Lights: I got this at home depot. I didnt want to spend alot of money on the lights. Im not growing any plants in there so I just picked up a lighting fixture from home depot. Its reflectorized back end . Not sure if im using the right words. But very bright. 32 watts each x2, its the " day light " kinda flourecent. The back side where the light sits is like a mirror, so it almost doubles the light. not bad for $35.00

Comming next is the pool sand, more media for the sump, a fx5 canister just for extra, and another 250 wtt heater in the sump ( its an outdoor tank) .

And thats me the fat ass in the black! hahah. my Dad in the red ( the old guy ) and my best bud that helped me with the project. This was done at 1am last night ! with a couple of bruskies , thats why the tired faces.

I hope you guys enjoy!! All inspired by MFK'ers.

Stocking ideas?!! Thanks again!

Looks nice but I think you need a bigger tank, I think a 300 gallon tank will all that free space on the left and right of the tank.

I kinda like the Christmas colors. A little something different from the norm.
