how do I do this I have 2 75 gallon heaters set to there max in a 65 gallon tank I know they have the control on them. So how should I do this

turn them down and get a thermometer

its water.. it does not heat instantly.. leaving the heaters turned all the way up will not end well..

I dont get what your trying to do? A 200w heater is plenty for a 75g tank... Are you in a rush to heat it? Whats the temp right now? Most heaters work in this manner, turn it to what you want, 80 degrees, and then wait for it to get there...

First of all, what is the wattage of the (2?) heaters you have? All heaters have a temperature setting so just set at the desired temp and test the water temp with a thermometer.

Buy a quality thermometer if you don't have one!

A good heater is worth the cash. I boiled a pair of Convicts because my heater SUCKED!

It is really very simple. Get a heater, set the temp and watch it like watching paint dry. Make sure you have a therm and you should be good.

Woa I did not give enough info... I mean my fish are sick and the temp needs to get up to 94... so how should I do this?

94 will take care of prettymuch everything.. including yer sick fish.. and by that i mean thers a 99% chance that the temp will kill them...

without knowing what type of fish yer treating or what you are treating them for its hard to help you... generaly speaking 82-85 is good for ich

It's Hydra and I'm treating Discus so the temp. won't kill them.

hydra are not a bad thing.. they are a sign of really good water... the only thing they can hurt are like... fry under 1/4 of an inch.... cut down on yer feeding a bit and they should go away on their own.....
