"Tank" The Murray Cod.

Original name I know. I got him about a month or so ago, I thought I would use this thread to update his growth, etc.
I don't think I have seen a thread with the progress of a Murray Cod tracked on here, so I thought I would start one, to find
display a growth rate for the curiosity of anyone wishing to know...
He is beefing up nicely. at about 4 inches right now.

I have one at the moment and am recording growth rates. Got him when he was less than a month old and about 1 inch, he's about 2.5 inches now so he's put on 1.5 inches in about 3 weeks. He was eating live worms and extremely small gudgeons but I have coaxed him onto cichlid pellet and frozen heart and prawn. Picture from the first day I got him.


Any pics of yours? Would love to see how much they colour up after 2 inches. Mines still pale but getting more spots by the day.
