would a giant tank around 1000gallons(with water), make a hole in the carpet, by like practically falling thorugh?
since it's so heavy, 1000gallons thats pretty heavy right?
i'm saying would the weight break/rip/go through the floor?

Depends on where the tank is located and whats underneath the floor. If its in a basement with poured concrete floor your ok. If its on the third floor of an old frame victorian , I would think twice.

Yup Ballsmcgee said it 8 lbs/ gallon. But calculte more than that once you get your gravel or sand in there, than the weight of large rocks or decorations.

bro your room will consist of your bed and fish tank 1000 gal's is a very large tank maybe you mite fancy a 500 gal thats still a lot of water to monitor

What's the footprint for this tank? (Length x Width)
You can figure on 10lbs per gallon once you consider the weight of the tank, substrate, stand, filter, etc. With a footprint of 40sq/ft (10ft long X 4ft wide) there would be 250lbs per square foot with a solid bottom stand. This would cause no problem on a concrete floor.

no, i'm not going to get this tank for a long time(not until i get experienced with fish) since it's going to have arowanas, catfish/sharks, pacus, oscars, knifefish, and maybe a spotted gar(if someone can sell me one), and a payara(if i can feed one), and maybe a fakaha puffer(if i get more info.)
but it'll be around 10' 5' 4'

i'm going to start off with the giant carnivorous tank #2 in a couple months(see signature)

OK. Just remember that the dimensions you've listed for this tank actually makes it a 1500gal. Not 1000. That's quite a bit more weight than you were first considering. This tank would weigh in at 300lbs per sq/ft.
