What would be the best size of tank (in dimensions, as i think i'm going to DIY it) to house a palmas polli, delhezi and an african brown knife?

i'm thinking maybe 60 x 20 x 18 last being how tall.

or what would you recommend?

24 (instead of 20) would be perfect for almost any poly species.

id do 5'or6'-2' and id do 2' height too because i dont like the way big 18" tanks look.

ya, but if i do 2 foot in height then i think i'll have to go with even thicker glass or acrylic.

BTW how thick would the glass or acrylic need to be?

so 60x24x18 (110 gallons) ?

approx. 110 yes.
that's more of a footprint based size you can Def. fit more fish in there

ya, the question was how thick of glass or acrylic would i need? and what places should i check for the glass or acrylic?

1/3?
i think

dont know where to go though

would it be best to go low iron, or just regular glass?

what about 1/2" acrylic?

Ok, besides the glass, i've figured everything out, and this is probably going to be my summer work project.

i need to get
a few sheets of 3/4" plywood
some DAP waterproof glue
DAP aquarium silicon sealant
a few gallons of two part epoxy paint
about 1 1/2 lbs of screws
The glass or acrylic

then i need to build a stand and a hood with DIY flourescent lighting.
