under a bridge in fl
im thinking of putting my bass in my parents pond and getting some more babies. :D
not a small pond but a real pond, about an acre is my guess.
2/3 of it is shallow, other 3rd is around 20 feet deep.
not sure how low the water temp gets in it. :irked:
how should i add them if i do this?
should i start switching there water to the pond water in the tank?
acclimate them for a few hours before?
just chuck them in and say good luck? :D
thanks in advance for any info. :)

Where are you again?

The way I would do it is bag them in water and then take them to the pond and let them aclimate for a little. But be sure your parents want pbass in their pond and find out how cold that pond gets in all seasons.

my dad wants my aro for the pond. :D
ya they want them.

should i check the shallows or the 20' deep or both?
whats a good way to get a temp 20' down?lol
just drop a thermometer down there for a few minutes?

what the hell kind of pond is this???20 ft deep youl never see them again. I would jsut keep them in the tank. If you want pond peackocks just go fishing down there in florida and chatch them

I see no problem in it.... just as long the temp doesn't fall to far under 80....

If it does, these will become topwater species in a hurry.
