Anybody know where I can find a replacement oak trim for my tank. After being kept in storage for a while the trim on my 75 got a little scuffed up. I was trying to find something that would stick on over the existing trim or a laminent of sorts.

I heard that you can order a replacement from AGA but I'm trying to avoid the expense and extra work involved in removing the existing trim.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I don't know about getting replacement trim, but you might be able to apply a new vanier to it. Or, if you want to be real cheap, those rolls of adhesive drawer liners with the different wood grain patterns would probably work.

Home centers and hardware stores carry iron-on wood-patterned tape (used to conceal plywood edges in furniture and cabinetry). These would probably work, but you might have trouble finding tape wide enough to cover the height of the trim in one pass.

You could also fill in scratches and scuffs with colored wax, also sold at home centers for furniture repair.
