Everything has settled down just fine. The fish seem to be playing well together........too well based on my expectations! As always "Otto" the big chain pickerel runs the joint but he is a peaceful dude until feeding time. "Adolph" the smaller chain pickerel (my wife is in charge of fish names so don't ask me) seems to be the pig of the tank though. If there is anything worth eating in there he'll have a fat belly in the morning. The perch pretty much just snuggle together and hang out. I have an outdoor large tank and a pond project starting soon so they will eventually spread out into their larger digs. The outdoor tank is being rearranged so these pics are messy. The current population is:
2 chain pickerel
2 bullhead catfish
2 white perch (Otto food...he seeems to like big white perch)
2 yellow perch
2 baby bluegill (adolph food)
4 crayfish (population varies based on Otto's appetite and my willingness to go scoop more out of the creek)
I also have some baby bluegill and a couple perch in my outdoor hex. Not ideal for the perch but its a holding tank for feeders. I don't trust store bought junk anymore. Here are some new pics...
