Sorry for the poor pics-camera is very basic. Had a rearrange in the tank-created more hiding spots but also more open space for the fish. Am looking to change the substrate to a darker, tan colour sand also. Got rid of some fish recently-tank was overstocked and had problems with aggression.
Got the Endli at Xmas 2010 at just over 5". Its now just over 9" so am pleased with the growth. Normally eats tilapia fillet but has just started eating Massivore and is getting more aggressive at feeding now-I had to feed the lazy thing with tongs before but its more active now.
Got the ansorgii 2 days ago-its 7" and just had some tilapia so alls well. Also have a &" P. palmas polli but it was hiding but this too it getting more active (though I have to say when I kepot them years ago I remember them being continually on the go). They share the tank with a 11-12" NTT, &" and 5" IT and a 9" Channa panaw.
We go on holiday to Canada end of April for 2 weeks-if we get a good vibe for the place then we plan to move longterm this year with the kids. If not a tank upgrade is in order for the fish
