Figured I would update the pbass tank before I get my bigger tank setup and put all my pike in.

I will just tell you whats going on in those pictures down here since the page is so small with pictures in it lol. But once again sorry for the picture quality. I am still working with the cell phone and the shutter speed is terrible on it. If I dont get the fish still for 3 seconds the picture looks like crap. But I was trying close ups of the orino, showing the pike a little as well as the giant irwini. My little snookn peruvian mono is finally starting to look mono so I am getting a little excited.

-The next time I will probably post I will have the fish in a bigger tank. I have a friend helping me build an acrylic tank. I dont know what the volume will be but I am looking at 60,30,30. I might add a little more length to it but I will have to make it more shallow for that to work out. I want to limit the weight on the floor even though I have floor jacks in the basement.

very nice orino! i hope i have one..:)

Thanks man. Are you growing out some juvies or something? The orino is definitely the jewell of my low price tank lol. But you cannot beat the color for the price of orinos.

Are any of those bass from rich at IA by any chance?

And the length of the tank will not really have effect on the way the weight is distributed. The height is the only factor. For instance, a fish tank can be 6 feet long by 2.5ft by 2.5ft, well that weight is only put on an area of 6x2.5x2.5. If you add more to that tank, say 8x2.5x2.5 then those extra pounds are put on an area that had no weight on it before (that extra 2 feet by 2.5 feet), and not the area that the tank is on now, UNLESS you add height. So you can go as big as you want as far as length and width are concerned, just don't increase the height.

The key here is weight distribution.

Haha I cannot believe I did not think about it that way. I mean the water bed is upstairs and I dont have to worry because it spread out. I guess I have just been having a massive brain fart for two months of looking at tank sizes lol. But as far as where I got my fish from I got the orino from a buddy who could not get it to grow but I believe he got it from River Wonders. The other three bass are snookn bass. I had to sell my other bass because the order came in with the bass being quite a bit smaller than I had expected to get in. They would have been a pretty expensive meal.
