2 weeks ago I picket up six thorichthys ellioti, two males four females ranging from 2 to 3 inch, and now living in my 180 gal with my pair of biffas male 11 inch female 8 inch. So far all is good, just have to hope it stays that way.

Are you sure those thorichthys are maculipinnis?
They look like helleri to me,In fact I would put money on it.

I would also add that those thorichthys are the laguna catazaja variety. Along with your laguna catazaja biffas you have the perfect biotope.

Went to see rob at lincs fish a few weeks back, wanted to try a thorichthys sp in with mine but it's always a risk putting 2 inch fish in with a boisterous 11 inch fish, he was selling these for a customer and six of these where cheaper then a pair of meeki from pets at home, also picked up some rio chacamax biffa's
