I will be getting a new tank for my birthday to upgrade from my 40 gallon tank. i want to get a 120 - 150 gallon tank but 72" is too long. do they sell tanks of that size that are around 5ft across and maybe have a bigger footprint or something? thanks!

120g is 5' long, 1.5' wide & 28" tall I believe. also a 150 tall is a 5 ft tank and a 120g tall is a 4ft tank. 75g is 4 ft as well.
Yeah i realized i was looking at the "long" tanks instead of the regular ones. now i just need to find one on craigslist!
I currently have a 120g (60x18x26). It was impossible to find a used one in my area. I actually bought mine new at Petsmart. Some of the larger stores carry pretty big tanks. Just be patient the 5 footers are harder to come by.
Another option if you have money to burn are the Marineland deep dimension tanks. Just imagine a 250g 60x36 footprint! If you have a spare 4 grand laying around...

I have a used 150 acryllic tank, im not sure if its shorter than 72" but you can have it for $75 with the kit that cleans up the scratchs and a free stand that came with it. Just come take it out of my Garage! HELL ill even through in a heater!
