Tank water changes ?

I own a 50 gal.tank and i have 3, 3.5" snakehead and 3 small plecos, and 2 dwarf gourami. I was wondering how often will i have water changes, once a week once a month or ... And what percentage of the water will i have to drain and replace. And also will i have to put salt ? And how much salt ?

No salt, test your nitrates and change a suitable amount of water based on how they accumulate.

i change mine about 30% of water every weekend. and yeah, i put about 2 half a spoon of salt everytime. the filter also needs to be clean regularly to prevent any disease to fish.
r u going to keep tht snakeheads until they reach adultsize? they will surely outgrow ure 50gallon if u dont move them, and will probably eat ure gouramies. well, good luck with ure tank though.
