Hello Fisharians,
I am in love!!! I have 2 75 gallon tanks. My goal is to have a community tank and a baby monster tank. So far So Good. But I want to make sure I dont have over or under kill. Here we go I have 4 neon tetra 2 rosey tetra 2 GIANT Danios 2 Bala sharks 1 eclipse sun catfish 1 iridescent shark 1 plako 1 angel fish 2 balloon belly mollies 2 black mollies. 3 blood fins. I have 2 waterfall type filters. Sand subtrate 2 very large drift wood pieces. I am OCD with cleaning with 2 week water changing and monthly rincing my carbon filters on of them has the media thingys i read about. Oh and live plants. This has been thriving for 6 months now and so far i have experienced EVERY thing algae blooms 1 molly blind due to a sick tank. My pleko omg is beautiful and eats everything shrimp pellets he bullys for. I drop 40 ghost shrimp for live food once a week and blood worms twice a week. Bala loves them along with cucumbers. I try to keep food changing for growth and happy fish. No deaths or sick tank in 3 months. The other 75 is empty waiting for the BALA IRIDESCENT N ECLIPSE to go in. My pleko lets me pet him lol and the Eclipse n and iridescent are growing great. Any advise please share.

Bala sharks and eclipse catfish get over a foot, and iridescent sharks over 3 feet.

I don't consider weekly water changes and monthly filter cleaning as OCD.
I change 30 % of water every other day, and rinse mechanical filter media at the same interval.
I also agree with robham about the bala and iridescent sharks, a 75 gal tank will be way too small as they put on size. The irridescents are usually sold in Asian grocery store as food for dinner , called Swai.
not my pic, but a good example

T Tyga I am not knocking you, just trying to make you aware of what you already have. A lot of us have made poor choices stocking tanks at one time or another. Most pet stores are only interested in making a sale and moving on to the next customer or break. Either they themselves do not know much about stocking or don't care. A 75 gallon will not be suitable for very long for the sharks or catfish.

above pic I took of a 500 gal tank in Milwaukee.
The iridescent and the shovel nose cats, were about 2 ft long each (maybe more), as was the the Tilapia.
Also not a knock, but just a heads up.
For largish fish I kept, and over wintering my out door pond fish, I ended up filling my basement with 1000 gal kiddy pools.
