Here is the situation: we accidently broke our bottom trim of our 240 gal tank. the questions are:

is it still safe to use it or is it going to bust anytime soon?

how do I prepare it if I have to? and where to buy all the stuff to prepare it?

thanks for your help and inputs

A detailed picture would be nice

The trim is only for cosmetics. It does not contribute to the strength of the tank.

However, if the trim is broken to the point that the tank sits in an odd position or unlevel, you could see some problems. Your best bet is to glue it back, replace it, or remove it all together.

:iagree:

I would definitely try to glue it/piece it back together.
