I did keep cichlids for years but i took them all back last week and got a baby Rhom at 2". Deffo a future monster!! hes..

yep, im ready for the wait, its gonna be quite some time before hes at a size like yours. im looking forward to seeing him go through all the different transformations and watching him grow.
i know of a few little tricks to help them with their growth, on the road to beast hood

If you look close he has a nice sized gash where his forehead starts... its healed up real nicely and is almost fully fixed.... he tried getting out of the tank a couple weeks ago-- it amazes me how powerful he is when he gets moving like that-
