is a 120-130 gallon 4x2x2 able to house a jar? how long?

Yes it will house a jar for quite a while. Some say it is good for life. IMO I would say at least a 6' x 2' x 2' is needed for life. Get the Jar once it starts getting huge 20"+ you will then know if it needs a bigger tank or not.
