I've seen a few Flowerhorns on aquabid being sold as tanking or tan king. I was wondering if anyone knows what they mean by that? Is that a new blood line?

tan king is a type of strain, if i remember correctly. They could be calling it a tanking, as in being bulky and having a head.

Tan King is a Vietnamese strain of Kamfa. Much like Japro and Darmo Kamfa. But to be honest, true strain of Tan King doesn't exist anymore. Even if they do, it is almost impossible to find just like the original GM/Kamalau or Indo ZZ and so on. Breeders now a days try to re-create TK and other original strain of FH. They may have come close to it, but it is never the same. They got partial of the breeding recipe right, but not all of it. So if you really found a true TK, expect to pay thousands. Other than that, just go by as what they call it. Buy something that suits for your liking, not something that is all by name brand.
