hey i have a 6" polypterus in a 75 gallon. The ph is around 7.2. There are also 3 adult bristlenose but they generally tend to themselves. I was breeding green terrors in it, but am planning on moving them to a tub pond this summer. Does anybody have any suggestions for a large wet pet that would get along with a senegal bichir? (And yes i'm already considering oscars).

Oscars tend to wanna eat everything. I would go more towards a midas, parachromis species, smaller vejas,

i keep mine with an O and a huge rose queen atm. the rose is old and stubborn so she beat on her for a while but they get along now. i hope to keep her with dats, a flagtail, pink tailed chaleus, the dats are all over the place size wise so she can probably eat a few of them so i'm waiting.

I'd hopefully get the cichlid as a juvie so they would grow up with the bichir and be used to it.

I'd thought about amphilophus and parachromis, but I worry that they would be a little too aggressive when they get older.

My Uaru's get along fine with my bichir and pleco
