Hey, so I have a 125Gal growout tank with some silver dollars, black skirts and leopard ctenopoma, some peppered corys and a 4" royal L190. He does seem a little aggressive when i put veggies and stuff in for him towards the corys but only sometimes but its enough to make me hesitant in putting in another pleco. I would like to do so as there is soo many different species. The tank is heavily aquascaped with 4 good sized pieces of malaysian wood and one good sized piece of mopani, so lots of wood to munch on, and lots of places to hide as well, i dont usually see my royal till it gets closer to dusk and something gets dropped in for him. lots of plants as well (fake as the silver dollars ) Im thinking im going to have to stick to a more of a veggie diet pleco as the silver dollars will sniff anything out, wafers, pellets, frozen cubes, earthworms, everything they just seem to seek them out and haul them right away. I tried the earthworm for my leopard and he got a couple of bits and the silver dollars came in and well that was the end of that, i can of course say an L 46 would be great but well we all know how well that would go. But i am sort of after something neat, i think it was an L 183? had a neat pattern on it. any suggestions on plecos or to steer clear would be great.

You are right in thinking to stick to a more veggie based diet since you have the L190. Tbh I think that you could comfortably keep any sort of other pleco that isnt mainly a meateater (pseaudacanthicus, leporacanthicus etc) since it is a large tank with lots hiding places by the sound of it. You could perhaps try and avoid similar size plecos because aggression is more likely. If it were me, Id get some more royals, but they are my favourites.
