I am looking for one more tankmate for my Jags, they are in a 180 gallon. Its just them, their fry, and a few red jewels so that they have something to defend their fry from. I wanted to add just one more fish to inhabit my tank. Something thats 12" or less max size, is a cichlid, is aggressive enough to defend him or herself from a jag, I want it to be a really good looking fish. I was thinking a female fetstae, or a synspillum, maybe a red devil? So any ideas???

in a 180 with a breeding pair of jag's, there really isnt much that can suruvive, and when they get bigger nothing will survive, but i guess a midas, vieja argentea, or convicts, but i dont think they will survive long term
Really? There seems to be alot of room in there? Well I can always put the jags in their own tank when it starts to get rough.
