Tankmate Ideas

well i just got my 180 set up, will be moving my 4 reticualted rays in within a few days. i need some ideas for predatory top water tankmates that do well with retics. names and pics if you have any would be nice.

Well StinkRay, there are a number of options, and you should choose which ever pleases you. Arowanas would work great, except for Jardini Arowanas.

silver or black aros.... gars are good tank mates too I keep 1 black aro 2 tropical gars and 7 wide bar dats with my rays....

i've got a small pike cichlid today, i was wondering if he'd be able to live with my rays or would he get too agressive? if so i have 75 i will devote to him when he gets a little bigger.

any feedback about the pike? do you guys think it ould be alright or not? pike is about 4 inches right now.

I had a very bad experience with pikes and rays I would not try it most cichlids get too aggressive at the temps rays are kept... I have kept frontosa with rays and plan on doing that again when I find big ones for a good price...
