I plan on getting a 125 to 150g tank in a couple of months for my oscar, meeki, jack dempsey, common pleco. Right now they are in a 55g. What suggestions do you have for tankmates for this of size tank? I know was planning on getting a green terror, would that work? How many fish could i have in this size of tank? I like attractive looking fish.

does any one have any suggestions? I was also thinking another meeki and an electric blue jack dempsey, would these work? How many fish can i have in this size of tank? I planned on having a couple silver dollars. Any advise or suggestions would be helpful.

Personally, I would leave it as is. If you really wanted to add something else look into some dithers. Also, what are your plans for filtration?

I am looking at getting a tank that is about 7' long at least and i believe it is about 1.75' wide. I don't have the tank yet but those are the plans on the demensions that i am looking for. and i was planning on using canister filter or due u have any other suggestions on filtration? My lps said i could have around 6 large cichlids. But i was also planning on putting in some dither fish.

as long as you have good water parameters (with good water changes) i think you could handle another big cichlid in your 125-150 gal. but you might want to check up on aggression levels. if you get a Green terror get it smaller than the JD. The same goes for most other "big" cichlids.

one suggestion would be to get a texas. those can get mean but they aren't overly aggressive when they're young(ish). they also won't get much bigger than your JD's. Just make sure that

other cichlids of the same size are:

severum
blackbelt
chocolate
